The Acre single vineyard Merlot is a deep garnet in color with blackberry, black cherry, cola berry, leather, graphite, and fruit compote aromatics. The flavors echo more black fruit, 60% dark chocolate, black licorice, and baking spice. Rich and lush in the mouth, the wine equivalent of cashmere and plush velvet. Dark chocolate, more black cherry, and vanilla cream take over in a long and supple finish. Extremely drinkable now with terrific cellar potential.
