Description
Red Wine – The beautiful dark purple 2023 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is an
extremely profound wine. The aromatics are layered with blackcurrant, sage and vanilla. After the
wine has been opened for a few moments’ black cherry, cedar and anise begin to emerge. The wine
is quite rich, with a silkiness on the palate. Flavors of coffee grounds and cocoa nibs are prevalent.
The tannins are pleasantly chalky while the acidity is firm due to the cooler vintage. Pomegranate
concentrate lingers on the finish. Drink young with a very hearty meal, however this wine is really
meant to be aged for 15 years (2040). Those who do will be greatly rewarded.
