Red Wine – A good example of Ribera del Duero wine: at first it is powerful and then shows its elegance and balance. On the nose, spicy touches from the American barrel (especially vanilla) and fine toasted notes from the wood are appreciated. On the palate it is very balanced and tasty. To enjoy now or in the next five years.
Appearance: Cherry red with morello cherry tones, in thin layer violet tones predominate.
Nose: Very intense aromas of spices (cinnamon, mint, peppermint) with touches of vanilla, still mixed with tones of ripe fruit, clean and complex.
Palate: The entry is strong, where the tannins are noticed to later leave a good passage in the mouth. Ample, balanced, in the retronasal those spicy and red fruit notes reappear. Great persistence.
Tenía muchas ganas de probar el Torrepingón Crianza 2021 después de ver que clasificó como el 4.º mejor Ribera del Duero en Puerto Rico este 2026, ¡y vaya si hace honor a ese puesto! Es un vino espectacular, con toda la fuerza de la Ribera del Duero pero con una elegancia increíble en boca. En nariz tiene una complejidad tremenda con notas de fruta madura y toques de vainilla de la madera. Lo abrimos para acompañar un buen corte de carne y el maridaje fue perfecto. Un vino con una personalidad impecable que vale cada centavo. ¡Ya compré un par de botellas más para la cava!, claro me tomé una antes!!!! y por el precio por cajas!!!
