Description
Red Wine – These Malbec grapes, grown in Paraje Altamira, are vinified through prolonged maceration to preserve the fruit's integrity to the maximum. During fermentation, the temperature does not exceed 28°C. The wine matures in 160-liter French oak barrels for 12 months and rests for another 12 months before reaching the hands of those who will drink it. The vineyards that produce this wine were planted by immigrants who arrived in Argentina at the beginning of the 20th century. In the Uco Valley, in the province of Mendoza, the vineyards, trained under the artisanal Guyot system, grow in alluvial soils at an altitude of 1,100 masl, facing the Andes Mountains.
