Hailing from the world-renowned D.O. Rueda in Northern Spain, Emina "Selección Personal" represents a premium, meticulously curated expression of Spain's signature white grape. Produced by Bodega Emina Rueda (a branch of the elite Bodegas Familiares Matarromera group), this wine honors the rigorous personal vineyard selection of master winemaker Carlos Moro.
While standard Rueda whites are built strictly for early consumption, the "Selección Personal" expression undergoes partial barrel fermentation and aging in fine-grain French oak barrels. This technique softens the grape’s natural sharpness, infusing the wine with an ultra-creamy, velvety texture and complex pastry undertones while allowing the lively, natural Castilian fruit profiles to explicitly shine
It is a single-varietal wine, straw-yellow in color with greenish reflections, clean and very bright.
On the nose, it is a wine of high intensity, with aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, and fennel.
